Powder Coated Steel Cover

This powder coated steel cover is requested from one of our Europe customer who is in the field of outdoor LED lighting. At the beginning of the development of this project, the powder coated cover is produced as prototype to test the design and quality, production is implemented by laser cutting and bending.

 

There are 2 points to produce this long steel cover:

1, The products is 1.2m long which is too long for laser cutting, at prototype stage, customer accept the minor deviation of the straightness so we can produce the prototype by laser cutting for only design test and surface finish test of powder coating.

 

2, The structure of this cover is actually like a box, so it more looks like a steel frame, so it’s been difficulty to powdering the inner side especially at the inner corner.

 

Because of the above 2 points, after prototyping, we suggest customer to produce this cold rolled steel cover by stamping mold and made a minor design modification on structure.

 

As a professional manufacturer, we have capability to produce long sheet metal stamping cover which is 1.2m, we did a good job to finish the powder coated steel cover for LED lighting. This long stamped cover is produced very straight and with good and stable quality.
