Busbars are used within electrical installations for distributing power from a supply point to several output circuits.

Most residential electrical panels will require a busbar which will distribute AC power to the circuit breakers but there are also numerous commercial and industrial applications that require specific benefits to the busbar design as well

Copper busbars are used in electric power distribution, inside switchgear, panel boards, and busway enclosures for local high current power distribution. They can also connect high voltage equipment at electrical switch and low voltage equipment in battery bank.
