Threaded Bushing

Bushings sometimes called sleeves or inserts. Threaded bushing, also known as threaded inserts, are to minimizes power consumption, noise, and wears on parts. As a single component, bushings hold an advantage over bearings in the assembly process and tend to cost less. Different types of threaded bushings used in various applications, for example, cylindrical threaded bushings, flange bushings and spherical bushings.

 

The raw material for the bushings are normally stainless steel, bronze, brass, copper, steel and plastic.

For example, this stainless steel bushing is made of SUS303 which is a very nice material for fastener as well. This threaded inserts is produced by CNC turning- chamfer- threading, the length is 27mm which have the same length of inner threading M6.
