Various descriptions commonly used for NC steering
Various commonly used instructions for CNC programming. Different CNC lathes have basically the same programming function instructions, but some individual function instructions have different definitions. Here, the FANUC-0T system is taken as an example to show the basic programming function instructions for CNC lathes.
1. Quick point positioning command (G00)
NC turning This command enables the tool handle to pass the point control mode from the current point of the tool handle to the target point at the fastest speed set by the machine tool factory. This command does not require a track and does not specify a feed rate.
2. Linear interpolation command (G01)
This command is used to move the tool handle from the current point to the target point at a given feed rate along a straight line or oblique line. It allows the tool handle to move linearly in the X or Z direction or on both X and Z axes. It is used for any slope of linear motion.
If the feed rate F value has been given in the previous program and does not need to be changed, the program cannot be written. If the axis is not fed, the axis command can be omitted from the command.
3. Circular interpolation command (G02, G03)
NC Turning This command is used to cut a circular contour from the handle of a tool moving in a circle. G02 is used for the clockwise tool holder to interpolate the circle, and G03 is used for the counterclockwise circular interpolation.
4. Thread cutting instruction (G32)
This command is used to cut cylindrical threads, tapered threads, and face threads.
5. Pause command (G04)
This command allows the tool to pause for a short period (n seconds) for feeding finishing. It is mainly used for turning ring grooves, not through holes and automatic thread processing,
6. Automatic homing command (G28)
NC turning This command enables the tool to automatically move from the current position to the machine origin or from the intermediate position to the machine origin
The coordinates in the command are the coordinates of the midpoint, where the X coordinate must be given by the diameter. When directly returning to the machine origin, just set the current position as the middle point. The tool reset instruction T00 must be written in the same block or the previous G28 instruction. The tool quickly returns to the machine zero point.
7. Workpiece coordinate system setting command (G50)
This command is used to set the tool starting point (tool point) relative to the workpiece origin, that is, to set the workpiece coordinate system, as well as some CNC systems with G92 command. The instruction is a non motion instruction, which only has the pre registration function. It is generally used as the first instruction in front of the whole program.
