We offer precision industrial machining services， this threaded sleeve is made of stainless steel 303, a free cutting stainless, wear-resistant and fire-resistant steel. After annealing and stress relief, the tensile strength is 515MPa, the yield strength is 205MPa, and the elongation is 40%. The standard hardness of stainless steel 303 is HRB 90-100, HRC 20-25. (Note: HRB100 = HRC20)

Sus303 is most suitable for processing bolts and nuts.

We produce this sleeve by using processing the CNC turning- chamfer- threading. The length of this stainless steel sleeve is 22mm and 27mm, the length of threading should also be 22mm and 27mm.

The difficulty is the depth of tapping M6 is greater than 3 times the nominal diameter of the thread.

As we all know that stainless steel raw material is too hard to machining, so if depth of threading in inner hole is too long, the cutter will be broken easily.

The important thing to machining this threaded sleeve is to make the inner long hole at stable dimension, otherwise, the threading won’t pass Go-No go gauge.
